In Sapio Life Competence Centers, the user and/or family members can view the full range of aids and identify the best solution in terms of functionality and comfort, based on their specific needs, with the support and specialized advice of an orthopedic technician and occupational therapist.

Technical assistance is provided by specialized technicians with the cooperation of the equipment manufacturers’ service centers.
Aids purchased directly by the user (and not provided by the ASL) are covered by the warranty provided by the Consumer Code.

Sapio Life takes care of the management of the auxiliary equipment owned by the local health authority with a dedicated service that guarantees
Sapio Life provides adequately structured spaces (in line with current regulations) for the storage of aids owned by the Local Health Authority.
The ASL warehouse is managed with a dedicated software.
All aids (both those in stock and those delivered) are traceable thanks to an inventory label with barcode.
The Asl staff can at any time check the availability of the aids, the status of the individual equipment (where it is located, what maintenance work has been done) and possibly make a reservation.
At the time of delivery, Sapio Life staff will customize the aids according to the user’s needs.
Sanitizing an aid intended for reuse is a crucial process for user safety.
For both new and reused equipment, Sapio Life carries out checks and tests according to internal quality procedures established in accordance with current regulations.
Technical assistance is provided by specialized technicians, with the collaboration of the service centers of the equipment manufacturers.
The technicians in charge of delivering the aids have a consolidated experience in Home Care and a high degree of sensitivity to the most critical situations.
Delivery personnel and specialized technicians (orthopedic technician and assistive technology technician) attend courses organized by the manufacturers in order to ensure maximum competence and constant updating on products.
The aids received through the ASL are covered by the guarantee provided by the health law: the DM 332/1999, the DPCM 12/1/2017, the regional regulations and any applicable tender notices on a case-by-case basis establish the contents and modalities of use. If more favorable to the assisted, Sapio will apply the warranty provided in the AUsie manufacturer’s user manual attached to the aid.
With the express permission of the competent ASL, interventions outside the warranty are also possible.
